• Experienced test analyst between 2-6 yrs with strong hands-on manual testing experience
• Experience of functional, non-functional, system, integration, performance and regression testing
• Experience in cross browser testing.
• Thorough understanding of formalised QA processes and concepts including various testing methodologies
• Undergraduate degree in Computing/Information Technology or equivalent
• Experience of automation; creating and running automated frameworks in Test Complete is appreciable.
Job Description
• As Software Engineer you will support the Test Manager by thinking innovatively about how best to test web based project and mobile apps.
• Analyse new and changed functionality to create detailed and comprehensive test plans, test cases and test scripts using agreed standards and processes
• Proactively communicate with subject matter experts to derive precise and detailed testing expected outcomes
• Execute manual testing, record test results accurately within specified project timeframes
• Document and record defects or problems, tracking status of defects, and verifying resolution during the testing lifecycle
• Escalate issues to the Test Manager and Project Team
• Perform functional, database, integration and regression testing as required
• Develop and maintain documentation relating to QA practices
• Good understanding of relational databases a solid knowledge of SQL
• Be comfortable working with spreadsheets and large data sets
