Job Description
· Lead and oversee internal quality audits and system reviews across logistics operations, driving continuous improvement in processes, workflows, and overall operational performance.
· Manage the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of quality management systems to ensure alignment with organisational standards, customer expectations, and applicable regulatory requirements.
· Oversee the development, review, and governance of logistics procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality documentation across warehousing, transportation, and distribution functions.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, service providers, and key customers to ensure consistent service quality, delivery performance, and compliance with agreed service standards.
· Direct the monitoring and analysis of key quality and operational performance metrics, providing strategic recommendations to improve service reliability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
· Lead risk and compliance management initiatives by identifying operational risks and opportunities, strengthening contractual and regulatory compliance frameworks, and promoting quality awareness through staff guidance and training.
Required Skills and Qualifications
· Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Quality Management, or a related field.
· Proven experience in quality assurance, compliance, or operational excellence within the logistics, warehousing, transportation, or supply chain industry.
· Strong knowledge of quality management systems, standard operating procedures, and continuous improvement practices.
· Good understanding of regulatory, contractual, and customer compliance requirements relevant to logistics operations.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret operational data and quality performance indicators.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, suppliers, carriers, and internal teams.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with logistics or warehouse management systems is an advantage.
Pay: $110,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
