Quality Assurance Professional (Meat Processing)
Location: Wiri, Auckland
Are you passionate about food safety and quality? We are looking for a motivated Quality Assurance Professional to join our team at a large meat processing site in Wiri. If you are driven, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement, this could be the perfect role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct finished product adherence checks
Manage retention samples
Complete and maintain food safety records
Conduct calibration checks and daily GMP inspections
Handle chemicals and perform pest control checks
Participate in quality training sessions
Verify end-of-shift cleaning processes
Ensure finished product release
Requirements:
A background in Food Science
02 years' experience in quality assurance and food safety
Knowledge of and certification in HACCP (preferred)
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously
A positive attitude with a passion for continuous improvement
High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders and team members
Competency with computers and strong written and verbal communication
Ability to work as part of a high-functioning team
Willingness to work on a rostered shift basis
The legal right to work in New Zealand
