Job Description :Job summaryQuality Services (QS) is 1000+ member organization providing manual test services for a wide range of Amazon products and operates out of Chennai, India and Arlington, VA. Test services include regression testing, new feature testing, accessibility testing using diversity workforce, localisation testing to support international marketplace testing and interoperability testing across 1P / 3P devices for services.We support a total of 65+ product teams including Amazon Devices (Alexa Devices, Health & Wellness, Ring etc…), Consumer apps and services (Audible, Delivery Apps, etc…), AWS (WorkDocs, Chime etc…), Advertising Engineering (Kindle Special Offer, IMDb TV etc…) and Amazon Video and Studios.Quality Assurance Technician (QAT) in QS org would work on testing devices, applications, other products both manually and with automated tools. QATs are individual contributors and are expected to understand the existing automation framework, contribute in test case automations, analyse the failures and fix them. They should also be capable of taking on tasks of test case execution from start to completion with minimal help. QATs are responsible for understanding the product/requirements in detail, writing tests cases (not test plans), owning the end to end execution and producing detailed execution and bug reports.Responsibilities. You create automation scripts for low complexity test cases based on feasibility analysis done by the QA / DEV teams.. You debug, troubleshoot and maintain automation scripts by fixing the stability issues.. You write test cases (not test plans) that are high quality, high value and maintainable.. You reproduce product defects & script failures to assist developers or other testers and identify, track, and accurately report defects found.. You acquire knowledge of the features and detailed functional requirements of the work to execute your assigned tests, and find gaps in the test plan/test coverage.Basic Qualifications :. 1+ years of quality assurance in a technology industry or equivalent field. . Have basic scripting knowledge and be able to create simple automation test scripts.. . Able to debug, troubleshoot, and gather information required to reproduce product and automation bugs/failures. . Can execute and maintain black box test cases using SOPs. . Strong communication skills the ability to partner with internal & external team members effectivelyPreferred Qualifications :. Testing experience with Android, iOS or both. . Reporting skills, proficient in creating status reports based on automation results
