Maintaining accurate records regarding product/process capabilities, United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) situation and HACCP
Monitoring (GMP's), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Critical Control Points (CCP's)

YOUR OPPORTUNITY

The Quality Assurance Technician assists in maintaining good manufacturing practices (GMP), ensures product specifications are met, and assists in maintaining the overall food safety of product.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintaining accurate records to assure consistency of product quality, compliance to regulatory agency requirements and documentation of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) process.
• Maintaining accurate records regarding product/process capabilities, United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) situation and HACCP.
• Monitoring (GMP's), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Critical Control Points (CCP's).

CORE COMPETENCIES FOR SUCCESS IN ALL ROLES: instills trust, communicates effectively, action-oriented, ensures accountability, and drives results.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Has earned a two year or higher college degree is preferred. One or more years' experience in meat processing, or closely related industry is preferred.
• Has the ability to read and interpret documents in the English language such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
