About the Role
As a Quality Control Coordinator at MUJI Retail Australia, you will play a crucial role in contributing to the success of our quality operations and acting as the vital link between our Australian Operations and MUJI Global. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities
Ensuring all products, packaging, and labels adhere to Australian legal requirements
Serving as the primary point of contact for MUJI Global and external laboratories, managing all inquiries, declarations, and testing schedules
Managing factory audit approvals and assisting with the systems set up and training for new factories
Maintaining detailed documents of inspections, tests and defects
Analysing defect patterns, conducting store visits to monitor trends, and recommending corrective actions to elevate our production processes
Skills and Experiences:
About You
Excellent English and Advanced Japanese language skills to effectively liaise with our RKJ Global team
Strong understanding of Australian regulations across product, safety and packaging
Experience in manufacturing, material flow, and managing factory audit approval processes
Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills, with an ability to manage complex timelines and coordinate across multiple internal and external parties
A proactive problem-solver who embraces continuous learning and has the agility to thrive within an ever-evolving retail landscape
