About the role:
This role is based at our Yennora Head Office from Monday to Friday, starting at 10am till 6pm.
You will supervise all incoming raw materials related to food safety and quality completed in timely and accurate manner.
Overall responsibility of this production/ warehouse-based role is to manage total Quality Control activities & provide supervision within the Yennora manufacturing plant that includes but not limited to:
Management of Critical Control Points (CCPs)
Quality Control Points (QCPs),
Regulatory Control Points (RCPs)
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) activities in ensuring Quality & Food Safety standards are complying at all the time.
Key Responsibilities but not limited too:
Temperature monitoring and quality checks to ensure incoming goods comply to specification
Deliver training as required to warehouse and meat plant team with regards to GMP compliance.
Work closely with warehouse, meat plant and batching team to ensure traceability is achieved.
Verify all monitoring activities especially in warehouse and meat plant such as cleaning and sanitation, foreign object control, control of non- conforming products is completed accurately and in timely manner.
Supervise pre-operational inspections conducted by the production staff and assist QA & Production teams in placing corrective & preventative actions for any non-conformances identified during these inspections.
Actively engage in food safety and quality tasks as required within the MYMC technical processes as required.
Skills & Experience:
Experience in a similar role within the food industry be highly desirable.
A commitment to the principles of food safety and drive to uphold those principles.
Competent in written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Able to work in cold (chilled and frozen) food manufacturing environment.
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills & Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience (desirable)
A disciplined, proactive approach to timelines and compliance to procedures.
