About The Position...
The Quality Control Specialist – Deposits (QCSD) is an onsite position and does not have remote opportunities.
The Quality Control Specialist – Deposits (QCSD) will be responsible for the efficient, effective, and accurate performance of quality control reviews all for new deposit accounts opened throughout the Bank. This position will review all new accounts to ensure that they were opened correctly in our core system Horizon, all required legal documentation was obtained in a timely manner and is appropriate for the type of legal entity or person that opened the account. In addition, this position will ensure the account was coded correctly to match our schedule of services and fees, all documents were properly scanned, all BSA related documents were completed accurately, and other quality control steps were followed which will be defined over time. The QCSD is also responsible for scanning and indexing all the new account-related documentation into the FCM system accurately, timely and efficiently. This position will be responsible for performing a bank-wide audit to ensure that all deposit accounts within Horizon have the proper documentation on file. If documents are missing, they will work closely with the branch personnel to obtain the proper documentation and ensure that everything is properly scanned. The QCSD will be responsible for additional tasks and duties that will be assigned overtime as needed. This position will also support the Quality Control Administrator – Deposits with other duties and projects as assigned. The QCSD will perform all duties accurately, timely and efficiently, and according to Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.

Education/Certification: High school graduate or equivalent.
Required Knowledge: Knowledge of Back Office and Branch Operations. Knowledge of Deposit Related Compliance laws and regulations. Basic understanding of banking products and services.
Experience Required: Minimum 3 years’ experience in banking operations.
Skills/Abilities
• Good communication skills.
• Professional appearance, dress, and attitude.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office software package.
• Ability to operate related computer hardware and other business equipment including adding machine, copy machine, and telephone
