Job Description
Norex is a leading Star Export House engaged in manufacturing Menthol, Mint Oils, Essential Oils, Aroma Chemicals, Flavours & Fragrances having ISO +001:2015, FSSC 22000 v 5.1, and WHO: GMP certification. Norex has a strong presence worldwide, servicing very reputable and major MNC customers. Norex is now foraying into the field of valued added flavoring ingredients, specifically in the field of spray-dried peppermint, spearmint, and other related products, with ambitious plans to further expand and become a reputed partner to the food, flavour, oral care, and pharmaceutical industries.
• Assist in QC stability testing and, prepare and maintain stability records and summaries.
• Involve in training and transfer of methods to and from QC and contract manufacturers as assigned.
• Modify and validate analytical procedures to meet QC’s needs.
• Support design and development of the experimental process, SOPs, etc., consistent with GMP/GLP.
• Participate in special projects and department meetings via input, feedback, and execution of assigned tasks.
• Execute special projects on analytical and problem-solving.
• Conduct all quality QC chemical tests.
• Adapt, maintain, and operate analytical instrumentation.
• Involve in procedure review and propose modifications and updates.
• Ensure the work environment is clean and safe complying with safety and pharmaceutical regulations.
• Conduct radiation safety duties conforming to regulations.
• Report monthly on supplies for QC orders involving devices and reagents.
• Contribute to industrial, R&D qualification, and validation activities and support routine maintenance.
• Conduct various analytical testing procedures as per manufacturing/QC SOPs.
• Must have an excellent understanding of analytical chemistry.
• Laboratory environment requiring the ability to carry out laboratory operating procedures in a safe manner, while maintaining a clean and orderly workspace
• Work effectively with computer software and hardware, including analytical instruments, spreadsheets, and word-processing applications
Required Candidate profile
• B.Sc with 2-3 yrs Experience in Quality Control in any Process Industry
• Hands-on experience with GC Instruments.
• Candidate with 2 to 3 years of experience in Quality Control preferred.
• Experience with GC instrument operation & troubleshooting.
• Experience working in an Environmental chemistry lab – desirable.
• Operating and maintenance of, GC-MS, and GC-MS MS
