The Opportunity
We are looking for a Quality Co-Ordinator to join the Quality Team at our Quality Bakers site in Auckland; New Zealand's largest plant bakery. You will support the food safety, quality and compliance activities across the site to ensure we produce, distribute and sell product that is safe, of the highest quality, and meets customer expectations.
To achieve this, your responsibilities will include:
Maintain and update quality management system to meet legislative, industry, and best practice standards
Monitor and analyze customer complaints, provide a response and report on trends to the wider business
Conduct Internal Audits and play a supportive role in the facilitation of External Audits
Partner with production and engineering to deliver on food safety and quality objectives, providing technical guidance
Is this the right role for you?
To make this role a success we are looking for someone with a background in Quality and an understanding of food safety and quality principles, preferably with experience of operating in an manufacturing or FMCG environment.
What we would like to see in your application:
Experience in a quality manufacturing or FMCG environment with experience with HACCP and Internal Audits
Understanding of food safety and Quality principles, along with an understanding of food production processes and food regulation
A Degree om Sciences/Food Science/Technology would be desirable but not essential
Strong stakeholder engagement skills to engage with production and engineering to increase Quality focus
