Job Description
Bachelorin Mechanical or Production Engineering or equivalent experience
Aminimum of 7 years in a Quality Control / Assurance Engineer having specificexposer to machining dimension & geometrical parameter inspection.
Experiencein preparing and verifying check list, CAPA, process improvement activities.
Otherskills required
Goodinspection knowledge of critical machining parameters.
Musthave good command in drawing readings.
Musthave good understanding of G & D tolerances.
Shouldbe able to prepare detailed inspection check lists, SOPs etc.
Shouldbe able to identify root cause for any nonconformance observed duringin-process and or final assembly and preparing required reports.
Mustbe able to prepare / suggest CAPA for any root cause identified for permanentsolution.
Mustbe able to understand requirements of ITP, job procedures, Data Sheet, PR etc.
Experiencein rotating equipment machiningparameter.
Expertknowledge about diverse measurement techniques and data acquisition systems.
Goodorganization skill includes time management, systematic reporting skill andsystematic record keeping and report writing.
Systematiccommunication skills
Understandingand defining client needs is paramount.
Abilityto work in flexible scheduling to meet business needs.
Demonstratesexcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficientwith Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Project.
Abilityto travel as and when required
Knowledgeof Lean manufacturing methodologies.

Your responsibilities
The job involves inspection & monitoring of precision machinedcomponents. Should reduce cycle time & maintain company Quality standard byreducing cost of Quality.
Position will be responsible for providing the day-to-daysupport for the appraisal and disposition of non-conforming material. Thisincludes initiating and leading Quality improvement activities for bothin-plant and external suppliers.
Provides leadership of the business unit’s Quality team, includingdeveloping, implementing and maintaining effective Quality standards, systemsand processes. Ability to resolve Quality issues.
Leadershipguidance to Quality team
Abilityto demonstrate critical machining inspection during assembly & testing.
Preparechecklist for inspection activities & Inspection as per SE standards,Drawings and related specification
Corrective& Preventive Actions for Quality issues
Drivethe RCA investigation of Quality incidents related to shop inspection.
Readingof Compressor & Package Engineering drawings.
Ensurecompliance of IMS in respective work area.
Participatein internal and external client inspections. Participate in Qualityintercompany meetings.
