What You'll Do
As our product offering continues to expand and increases in adoption, it's critical we have the continued capacity not just to keep up with the rate of testing but also to keep expanding our Test Automation coverage. As the newest member of our Quality Engineering team, you'll work closely with other members of the QE team and with other skilled Engineers to develop robust testing frameworks and automation processes. Your day to day will look like this:
Develop test code for products, ideally utilising Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) or Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.
Conduct code reviews through pull requests to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
Perform comprehensive testing including System Testing, System Integration Testing, Regression Testing, and Exploratory Testing to validate functionality and performance.
Document test coverage and cases meticulously to ensure thorough tracking of testing efforts and results.
Utilise JIRA for managing quality assurance processes and tracking defects throughout the development lifecycle.
Collaborate on process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the software delivery process.
What you'll bring

A minimum of 4 years' experience in Quality Assurance or Test Engineering roles.
ISTQB Foundation Level Certification or equivalent professional certification.
Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to convey technical concepts clearly and concisely.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, or scripting languages like PowerShell.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, including best practices for continuous integration and deployment.
Experience with SaaS and Cloud environments, particularly AWS.
Understanding of Test Automation design patterns and their practical application.
Skilled in middleware testing and adept with relevant testing tools.
Experience in developing Mock Services for robust testing scenarios.
Proficiency in writing SQL queries to validate data and perform backend testing.
Knowledge of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.
Experienced with testing frameworks and their effective utilisation.
Competency in using distributed source control and version control systems.
Understanding of session-based testing and its role in exploratory testing strategies.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
