As a highly skilled Quality Engineer (Civil) with hands-on experience in residential villa projects, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all construction activities meet the required quality standards, specifications, and timelines. Your responsibilities will include:
- Implementing and monitoring project-specific Quality Assurance Plans (QAP) and Quality Control (QC) procedures.
- Conducting inspections for materials, workmanship, structural works, finishing, and MEP-related activities.
- Ensuring compliance with IS codes, project specifications, drawings, and standards.
You will also be responsible for performing daily quality checks at the site for villa construction, identifying quality deviations, coordinating material testing, and maintaining proper documentation. Additionally, you will work closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Contractors, and Architects to ensure quality standards are met and provide feedback and training to site teams on quality processes.
Qualifications required for this role include a Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, 3-8 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in construction projects, experience in villa projects or weekend/holiday homes, strong knowledge of IS codes, QA/QC procedures, construction materials, and site activities, ability to read and interpret structural & architectural drawings, proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD (optional), and quality documentation, as well as strong problem-solving, inspection, and communication skills.
