Job Description
As a Quality Engineering Lead, you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
4 years of Information Technology experience.
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Calgary, AB or be willing to relocate to one of these areas.
At least 4 years of software testing experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and enterprise applications using WebDriver IO/JavaScript/Typescript and Vitest
Analyze functional and non-functional requirements to identify automation opportunities
Build and enhance reusable automation frameworks and utilities
Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to identify defects and quality risks
Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to ensure test coverage and quality alignment
Perform test data preparation and environment validation for automation execution
Log defects with clear steps and work with development teams through resolution
Participate in code reviews, automation best practices, and QA process improvements
Provide estimates, status updates, and risk assessments for assigned tasks
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
