What will you be doing?
Reporting to the Quality and Compliance Manager and part of a three person team, this role will have a broad base of daily responsibilities that will include:
Ensure pre-requisite programs are maintained, adhered to and updated as required.
Assist in maintaining, site’s quality compliance requirements and documentation.
Conduct internal audits, and assist with external regulatory and client audits and any follow-ups.
Provide support and technical expertise to production and dispatch, problem solving and troubleshooting of quality issues, and ensuring that quality and food safety integrity is always maintained. .
Respond to internal and external non-conformances and customer complaints. What are we looking for?
A tertiary qualification in Food Science or Food Technology (or similar).
At least 5 years’ experience working in quality assurance, compliance or food technology in a food manufacturing environment.
Lead auditor certification and experience, and certification in HACCP.
Experience in maintaining requirements like Risk Management Programs, Quality Management Systems, Custom Food Control Plans.
Experience conducting internal audits and assisting in external audits.
Experience in delivering training to staff at all levels of the business.
Experience leading, couching and managing a team.
Strong focus on health & safety.

Salary range from $85,000 to $100,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
