The Opportunity
Due to a period of growth, we are looking for an energetic and passionate Quality Specialist to join our team at production sites in Braeside.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System
Work with the Quality Manager to prepare for and participate in audits
Check and test products during the production process to ensure it meets quality standards
Check the quality of incoming and outgoing materials
Document testing and inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records
Maintain the document control system
Analyse results and make suggestions for improvement
Assist with investigations and root cause analysis
KPI reporting

What qualifications/experience will you need?
Working knowledge of a GFSI standard
Internal and 3rd party auditing experience
Tertiary qualification in Food Science or a similar discipline
Minimum 2 years working in general food manufacturing across multiple processes
