Process Overview EDMS (Enterprise Data Management Services) team provides tools and services that support the reporting and sustainability of EDM adherence. Supports data incident management, data movement, record management, requirement management, metadata, done through business analysis, custom application development, vendor application management and end-to-end software quality assurance Job Description Working as Testing Analyst in an Enterprise Data Management application, which involves analysis of requirements of Web applications , Functional tester will be responsible for testing the DRA application in Agile model. The tester will be responsible for In sprint testing, Regression testing and Defect Management. Responsibilities Performing root cause analysis and documenting an IA and work with Development to get the fix in ready. Supporting BAU activities on daily basis by working in AGILE methodology which involves raising requests in JIRA. Writing SQL Test Scripts for all testing scenarios for the concerned applications Identifying Defects by understanding the requirements and match the same with the Test Scripts. Involved in client meetings to understand the requirement and the defect they have raised through JIRA and implement the request as discussed. Create Regression / Smoke Test cases through automated process by involving TOSCA tool. Automate all the manual tasks needed performed for Unix applications. Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, providing timely feedback. Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Prioritize and plan testing activities. Play the role of test engineer Design, develop, and execute automated tests. Identify and report issues found, then verify that issues are resolved. Perform regression/retesting. Proven work experience in software quality assurance. Requirements Education B.E./ B. Tech/M.E./M. Tech/BSC/MSC/BCA/MCA (prefer IT/CS specialization) Certifications testing if any. Experience Range 7 to 10 Years Foundational skills Functional testing in agile lifecycle Working Knowledge of Defect management process, Risk Framework and mitigation, and Enterprise Testing standards Extensive expertise with QA Deliverables tool set (Quality Center, SharePoint, and Microsoft Project/Excel) Expert in writing SQL queries Agile Methodology/SDLC Good Communication Self-starter and able to work independently
