Recruit4Staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing company in their search for a Quality Technician to work in their leading facility in Welshpool
Please be aware this is working a 6 - 2 and 2 - 10 rotating weekly shift pattern.
For the successful Quality Technician, our client is offering
£2+,+80 Per Annum
6 - 2 and 2 - 10 rotating shift pattern (Monday to Friday) (40Hours) Per week
Permanent position
All overtime is paid at double time (regardless of when you do it)
Company pension plan
3x Death in Service
Access to EAP, Occupational Health, and physio on-site
Reduced gym membership
The Role - Quality Technician:
Performing real-time quality inspection and testing
Control of nonconforming products, both internal and supplier
Support the Production Department with technical, quality and specification issues
Support the Root Cause Analysis / Corrective Action process
Perform internal audits
Carry out environmental checks
What our client is looking for in a Quality Technician:
Bond testing, sorting and stock-taking of quarantine areas, GC tests, Route Cause Analysis (swarms, 5-Why, A3, etc.) and archiving of samples
BRC, ISO, FSC, ISCC+ plus other accreditation audits
Procedural and process audits
Hygiene audits, environmental audits, health & safety audits and glass audits
Actioning audit findings, with the aim of having a ‘no action list’ at future audits
Manufacturing of flexible packaging
Key Skills or Similar Job Titles as the Quality Technician position:
Quality Inspector, Quality Controller, Quality Technician, Quality Auditor, Auditing, Quality Control, Quality Checks, QC, QA, BRC, BRC Compliance
