Interaction with cross functional teams including Technical Operations, R&D, Planning, etc
Partnership with support personnel to troubleshoot formulation processes
Operation of manufacturing equipment
Working independently and as part of a team
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives in the formulation area
Identifying problems as they occur and suggesting appropriate steps to solve them in situations where the problem is not difficult or complex
Seeking advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from others
Drive, execute, and implement lean manufacturing efforts, process improvements, cost reduction efforts, and supply chain initiatives

Location: Newark, DE USA 1+702
Duration: 6 months (Possible Extension)

The Quality Control Tech performs routine tests and checks on the line throughout the production process to ensure quality and efficiency and eliminate rework and waste
Quality Control communicates any quality products with production and works with customers as appropriate with quality issues
The Quality Control Tech Level I is proficient in all calibration, product/water testing, and the use of the MMBR

Oversee the Quality Control analyses/functions in the processing of raw materials to finished goods and ensure compliance to company, customer, FDA, DOC, USDA and GMP specifications and regulations
Perform the Quality Control functions of production lines and/or the Quality Control bench product analysis for the lines and tankers of raw product
Obtain samples and perform analytical testing to ensure conformance to specifications
Conduct routine comparisons of products against established standards in regard to color, aroma, texture and flavor
Audit, document and report production process
Identify and hold non-conforming products, packaging and ingredients
Effectively communicate quality issues to management, assist in identifying root cause and establish corrective action
Demonstrate excellent job performance and attendance on a consistent and continuous basis
Must adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Safety Procedures as set forth by Refresco US rules, regulations and practices
