Description:
We’re looking for a Quality Technologist to join our team and play a key role in ensuring our food safety, quality, and compliance standards remain world-class.
This is a hands-on role working closely with our production teams, where you’ll be at the heart of maintaining product integrity and driving continuous improvement across the site.
About the role
As our Quality Technologist, you’ll be responsible for monitoring and verifying quality and food safety systems across the factory. You’ll work alongside Production Team Leaders and Operators to ensure compliance, support audits, and help build a strong food safety culture.
Your day-to-day will include:
Verifying quality and food safety checks, including CCP monitoring
Conducting analytical and microbiological testing
Ensuring product traceability
Supporting internal and external audits
Managing quality and food safety documentation and records
Investigating customer complaints and managing corrective actions
Supporting hygiene, cleaning, and food safety practices across the site
Delivering inductions and supporting team training in quality and food safety
Collaborating with production teams to drive continuous improvement
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for someone who enjoys being on the floor, is detail-focused, and takes pride in maintaining high standards.
You’ll ideally have:
A qualification in Food Science or Food Technology (preferred)
3–4 years’ experience in a food manufacturing environment
Experience with quality systems (e.g. HACCP)
Strong understanding of food safety and compliance requirements (FSANZ knowledge beneficial)
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across teams
High attention to detail and a proactive, hands-on approach
