Reporting to the Senior Manager, Brand Marketing – Quebec, the Quebec Brand Marketing Manager is responsible for the day-to-day development, management and implementation of the brand strategy and annual marketing plans for the Quebec market.
More specifically, this role touches upon multiple areas of marketing to build proximity & relevancy in Quebec. This is done through the creation of world-class integrated marketing programs, rooted in strategic insights, that drive positive brand perception & engagement in Quebec and ultimately deliver against Air Canada’s business objectives. This results-oriented leader is well versed in all tenets of brand marketing and has a deep understanding of the Quebec culture & French language.

Roles and responsibilities:


Participate in the development of annual brand marketing plans to drive positive brand sentiment & engagement in the Quebec market.
Manage and coordinate the deployment of integrated multi-channel marketing initiatives with executional excellence, leveraging owned, earned, and paid media as well as other marketing levers such as (but not limited to) strategic partnerships, sponsorships, experiential marketing, content marketing and public relations.
Participate in the identification, evaluation, and establishment of Qc-specific brand partnerships / sponsorships to build relevancy and deliver on Quebec brand objectives. This also includes the development and implementation of related marketing programs and fulfillment of brand integrations as per agreements.
Direct internal and external partners in the development of breakthrough brand content, creative assets and media campaigns that are created to resonate with Quebecers.
Coordinate the campaign planning and execution process, including post campaign analytics, to ensure lead times are met, resources & channel support are booked, and the execution is completed with excellence.
Ensure alignment and complementarity between the Quebec brand strategy and the national brand strategy by closely collaborating with other Brand team leads.
Manage project budgets including issuing of PO’s, purchase commitment authorizations, invoicing, billing, and reconciliation.
Leverage consumer research and business/category data to define objectives, establish a measurement plan, and ensure the monitoring and reporting of campaign results.
Collaborate with the other QC Strategy stakeholders and business units to identify areas of opportunity and to maximize overall impact of efforts.
Develop strong, cross-functional, cooperative working relationships with other teams involved in the Qc brand marketing initiatives (ex. National Sponsorships and Events teams, Sales and Business Development, Community Relations, AC Foundation, Routes Marketing).
Think strategically and creatively to contribute to new ideas and best practices based on key industry trends.
Provide support to Senior Manager, Brand Marketing – Quebec as assigned.
Qualifications

University degree with a major in Marketing, Communications and/or Business.
3-5+ years of working experience in marketing or related field (previous work experience in airline and/or travel industry an asset).
Well versed in all tenets of brand marketing & communication, including brand partnerships, emerging digital channels, and social media.
Master multichannel campaign management process, including briefing, development coordination (creative, media), deployment and post-campaign analysis.
Deep understanding of the Quebec culture & French language.
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor applied to a wide variety of marketing problems. Sharp attention to details is essential.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate with impact and effectiveness with internal and external stakeholders.
Highly motivated to succeed with energy and enthusiasm.
Highly organized self-starter with the ability to produce quality work in an ever-changing business and a strong desire to use your initiative and take accountability for your work.
Thrives in high-volume, agile, and fast-paced environment within a high-performance, results oriented team.
Keen interest and experience in Brand and Marketing Communications to ensure proper understanding and use of brand positioning and guidelines.
Strong creative evaluation skills and ideation capabilities.
Proficiency in managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Advanced level of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
