Role and Responsibilities of Quick Service Shift Manager:

The position of a Quick Service Shift Manager entails overseeing and managing the operations of a designated shift or shifts within the restaurant. Your main responsibility will be to partner with the restaurant's management to offer the necessary guidance and training for every shift to surpass the expectations of our customers. This role involves supervising the frontline team, ensuring customer delight, upholding operational efficiency, and aiding the management squad in achieving the restaurant's goals
• Take charge of supervising and coordinating the entire shift's restaurant operations, managing the workflow from start to completion.
• Develop, mentor, and empower personnel to create a successful team.
• Create a pleasant and hospitable ambiance in the work and dining environments.
• Maintain vigilance and enhance compliance with food safety procedures throughout the shift.
• Achieve maximum store revenue and profit objectives through the strategic management of operations.
• Adhere to the QSC criteria to ensure high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Preserve the sanctity of Wendy's brand and possessions.
• Display a proactive attitude towards achieving objectives and consistently meet performance benchmarks.
• Provide exceptional service to our patrons in order to satisfy their needs effectively.
• Instruct, observe, and motivate team members to follow food safety guidelines.
• Take on the role of Cash Manager when called upon, which includes the tasks of configuring cash registers in the morning and verifying cash amounts at the end of the day.
• Carry out checks to ensure that the restaurant is in suitable condition for beginning or ending operations, as well as being equipped for sudden surges in customer activity.
• Assist the restaurant management team in implementing effective strategies to train, develop, and engage crew members and Team Trainers to improve overall staff retention.
• Monitor, harmonize, and authorize the completion of operational assignments, maintaining conformity with all established Company guidelines.
• Support the restaurant management team in maintaining adequate coverage through crew member schedules to meet and exceed customer service benchmarks.
• Maintain budgetary goals through the management of food and labor expenses.
• Ensure the consistent application of company policies and procedures.
• Check the food preparation processes to ensure that quality benchmarks are achieved.
• Work collectively with your team to meet sales quotas and bolster earnings.
• Deal with customer dissatisfaction and address matters concerning guests promptly.

Required Skills and Experience of Quick Service Shift Manager:
• The requirement is that individuals are at least 18 years old.
• Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or a similar credential, as well as having all the essential documentation needed according to both state and federal laws.
• Candidates must have a minimum of one year of experience as a Quick Service Shift Manager or in an equivalent role, with a preference for individuals who have worked in high-volume quick-service restaurants or fast casual concepts.
• Capability to adjust to varying work timetables, which may include weekends and holidays.
• Displayed competence in leading and supervising your team in a fast-moving and lively context.
