About the job Role Summary: We are Looking for a Content Writer & who has a Ability to use data and testing to understand what people need and then try to meet those needs. Content Writers are responsible for creating, updating and reviewing content around the end-to-end user journey and are comfortable using evidence, data and research. Responsibility Create, iterate and manage content to meet user needs using analytics, user feedback, user research and other sources of information.Contribute to content principles, improvements and patterns.Create content for services, ensuring content meets evidenced user needs and delivers high levels of satisfaction from users.Develop content strategies with support from a senior content designer and apply content strategies in own work.Manage relationships with subject matter experts to gain understanding and make sure content is factually accurate.Manage appropriate checking and handling prior to publishing.Monitor the performance of content and services and make recommendations for improvements based on users' needs.Work with colleagues in other parts of government to identify user needs, write and map user journeys and design content to meet users' needs.Experience of creating, iterating and managing user-centered contentExperience of using analytics, user feedback, user research and other sources of information to improve content.Experience of working with content publishing systems, as well as Markdown or basic HTML.Experience of taking complex language and processes and make them simple to understand.Project management capability, including the ability to coordinate a number of projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.Experience working with stakeholders to understand their issues whilst maintaining content quality.You have an understanding of agile approaches and experience of working in agile teamsNice to have skills & experience Scoping, writing and editing user-centered content to ensure it's accurate, timely, relevant, accessible and written to style Using analytics, feedback and research to inform content decisions Clearly articulating the benefits of adopting an accessible, user-centred design approach to stakeholders and team members Managing rapidly changing deadlines, workloads and goalsPresenting your ideas clearly and convincingly, both verbally and in writingProviding constructive feedback on other designer's work to support their professional development
