Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our organization as the Head of Department for Radiology & Imaging. As the Head of Department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, strategic planning, and overall management of the Radiology & Imaging department in a junior leadership capacity.
Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and lead a team of radiologists, technologists, and support staff to ensure smooth functioning of the department.
2. Develop and implement departmental goals, objectives, and strategic plans in alignment with the organization's mission and vision.
3. Monitor and evaluate the quality and efficiency of radiological services to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
4. Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and promote interdisciplinary cooperation.
5. Stay updated with advancements in radiological technology and practices, and implement necessary changes to enhance departmental capabilities.
Qualifications:
1. Medical degree (MD) with specialization in Radiology or equivalent qualification.
2. Valid license to practice Radiology and Imaging.
3. Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a clinical setting, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
4. Strong knowledge of radiological procedures, imaging techniques, and interpretation.
5. Familiarity with current advancements in radiology technology, including PACS, RIS, and other imaging system
