Job Description
The Collection and Underwriting department focuses on the collection of the bank's various loan products like Home Loans, Car Loans, and Personal Loans among others. While the Underwriting department focuses on risk mitigation towards the loan offered to the customers. The department is key for the Loans business vertical as it is responsible for controlling and ensuring timely EMI collection and maintaining risk of the business.
About the Role:
The Business Process Control (BPC) team acts as a strategic link on behalf of the Retail Lending business department for addressing all regulatory/statutory audit issues. They are responsible for handling Compliance function for Retail Lending departments. They should ensure that the Business Department is compliant to all the stipulations and guidelines laid down by the regulators.
Key Responsibilities
• Responsible for enhancing the effectiveness of the compliance and audit function
• Implement plan for Enterprise Governance Risk and Control (EGRC) Framework as per the norms and guidelines
• Responsible for providing Business Support
• Liaise with the regulatory, statutory auditors and senior Management for handling of critical audit issues/process shortcomings and their efficient resolution
Qualifications:
Optimal qualification for success on the job is:
• Graduation/ Post-Graduation from a recognized institute
Role Proficiencies:
For successful execution of the job, the candidate should possess the following:
• Knowledge and understanding of Retail Lending/Payments/Small Business Banking/ Rural Lending business as applicability for the role
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and norms along with operational and system knowledge
• Good communication (both verbal and written) skill in both English and the local language
• Ability to manage complex client situations
• Ability to manage risk and uncertainty for self and team within a dynamic priority-setting environment
• Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
