Role description
1) Work closely with the Credit Specialist on vetting of credit proposals for borrowers from allotted sectors including analysis of financial, industry, business, management risks and highlighting credit risks in the said proposal
2) Monitoring and update on key trends, challenges in allotted sectors, economic developments as well as financial parameters of clients to detect potential risk triggers
3) Provide quality analysis compliant with RBI guidelines, legal and other internal compliances to lead to a sound decision making
4) Keep abreast of important developments in the allotted sectors and economy
5) Quality of credit inputs/views with a quick turnaround time
6) Consistent portfolio overview in order to identify exposure at potential risk and keeping NPAs / Restructured Accounts for the portfolio to the minimal
7) Client visits/management meetings
8) Periodic portfolio reviews
Skills
1) Good understanding of credit risk issues in multiple manufacturing and services sectors. In-depth knowledge of key drivers and indicators in these sectors
2) A solid understanding of financial statements, ratios
3) Understanding of compliance and regulatory norms including RBI Guidelines
4) Good communication and presentation skills
5) Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Power Point
