Job Overview:
Support and manage the Inhalation Product Testing team
Responsibilities:
Oversee projects from inception/protocol through completion/reporting
Manage 5 to 10 direct reports (both technical and non-technical with experience ranging from 0 to 6 years)
Qualifications - Skills & Requirements:
Minimum 6-12-years’ experience in a GMP laboratory with supervisory or management responsibility. Experience in analytical or product development support of generic and/or 505b2 product preferred - Experience with release of early phase clinical supplies preferred - Experience with in-vitro bioequivalence and/or drug product characterization preferred.
Ability to provide direction to the RD team aligned with the departmental goals
Must be able to plan and organize work and communicate any gaps or risks to timelines
Must be able to develop junior analysts in their roles and execute coaching plans as needed
Must be able to negotiate progress on cross-functional teams to deliver on project timelines
Education & Experience:
BS in a Science or Pharmaceutical Sciences related area
Physical Requirements: OFFICE POSITION - While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to: •Stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard reach, stoop kneel to install computer equipment •Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work •Light to moderate lifting is required •Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic). •Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time Sedentary work Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met. Additional Physical Requirements:
