Job Description
Summary
Looking for a strong, hands-on Senior Software Engineer - Mobile App Development, with strong experience in mobile application developer building status & control visualizations and configuration tools to interact with building automation systems and equipment controllers.
Key Responsibilities
• Work in all phase of an agile software development life cycle, including collecting requirements, suggesting methodologies and technologies, and release planning
• Collaborate with other team members to design, implement, and deliver solutions that meet the needs of our customers
• Active research, keeping up with the latest trends in software development
• Influence and strengthen agile development culture
• Inspire, mentor, and encourage developers to leverage industry best practices
• Design, implement, and support Mobile applications
• Ability to work through new and difficult framework issues (e.g. ReactNative, test libraries) and contribute to libraries as needed
Requirements
• 4+ years of software development experience
• Master's degree in Computer Science/equivalent or Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• Passion for software development and working collaboratively with teams
• Ability to identify with the goals of the product, and dedicate yourself to delivering on the commitments you and your team make to them
• Experience building mobile applications for Apple and Android
• Experience working on large, complex systems
• Agile development culture and practice
Must Have
• Mobile development experience (native, hybrid or browser-based)
• Hybrid frameworks such as Cordova, ReactNative
• NodeJS, Java/Kotlin, Objective-C, Swift
• JavaScript / HTML / CSS
• GraphQL or RESTful web services and consuming APIs in a mobile interface
• Javascript frameworks such as AngularJS, ReactJS, Vue.js
• Bluetooth / BLE ( Nice to have)
• Unit testing and mocking frameworks
• Continuous integration
• Design patterns
