Job Description
To undertake the development of software solutions in accordance with agreed release plans and associated solution designs for the business applications they have accountability for within their Business Platform Create high quality code, configurations and customization - developed, fully tested and deployed in accordance with requirements and acceptance criteria To undertake end user demonstrations, working with end users, solution architects and business consultants to ensure end user functionality and experience is achieved.
Accountabilities
• Develops detailed designs and technical specifications
• Develops, configures and tests software to meet user requirements and associated acceptance criteria, performance criteria and non-functional requirements in line with quality standards
• Ensures that test plans and test cases are created to meet quality, functional and non-functional requirements
• Undertakes qualitative peer reviews of the work activities of other development team members Technical Experience / Previous jobs required for the job
• 5+ years of experience in mobile app development for both Android and iOS target Operating systems
• Programming Language: JavaScript, TypeScript
• Strong in React-native UI framework
• Strong in React Native design patterns like Flux, Redux and Context API with Hooks
• Strong in native development on Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift)
• Having backend RESTful HTTP API development using Java, Nodejs is preferred
• Experience in Relational DBMS (SQL, PostgreSQL) is preferred and knowledge of NoSQL database (AWS DynamoDB)
Critical Knowledge Required For The Job
• Supports the planning of sprints and executes their role in accordance with the agreed sprint plans
• Supports operational colleagues in resolving complex in-life software issues
• Supports the creation of detailed designs and technical specifications
• Finds opportunities to re-use existing components and actively reduces complexity and customization in the technology landscape
• Where required will work with other colleagues across platforms to assure integrated solutions
• Applies code control and testing standards in accordance with Syngenta / industry standards
• Works with end user community to deliver user experience and user acceptance testing on a continuous basis
• Support the adoption of agile ways of working and working in a multi-supplier framework
• Apply and coach other team
