Our law firm is actively seeking a seasoned Permanent Real Estate Associate. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a wide range of complex real estate matters, including real estate secured loans, ABL facilities, subscription facilities, mezzanine loans, entitlements, joint ventures, purchase and sales, ground leases, and development transactions. Our ideal candidate has a deep understanding of real estate law and transactions, and is adept at managing settlements. Responsibilities
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of complex real estate transaction documents, including but not limited to, purchase agreements, lease agreements, joint venture agreements, and financing agreements.
• Provide legal advice on a variety of real estate matters such as real estate secured loans, ABL facilities, subscription facilities, mezzanine loans, entitlements, and joint ventures.
• Conduct due diligence investigations and risk assessments on real estate transactions.
• Represent clients in purchase and sales, ground leases, and development transactions.
• Manage and oversee all aspects of settlements.
• Collaborate with partners, associates, and clients to ensure transactions are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Stay updated on current laws, regulations, and industry trends related to real estate transactions.
Qualifications
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in the state.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a real estate law practice, specifically working with real estate secured loans, ABL facilities, subscription facilities, mezzanine loans, entitlements, joint ventures, purchase and sales, ground leases, and development transactions.
• Proven track record of managing settlements.
• Exceptional negotiation skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and projects simultaneously, respond to changing priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
