Job Title: Real Estate Lawyer

Job Description:
The Real Estate Lawyer is responsible for handling legal matters related to property transactions, including the buying, selling, leasing, and development of residential and commercial properties. This role involves providing legal advice, drafting and reviewing documents, conducting title searches, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The Real Estate Lawyer works closely with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other parties to facilitate smooth and legally sound transactions.

Location: Kandivali

Experience: 5 - 10 years

Key Responsibilities:
• Legal Advisory: Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on various real estate matters, including property acquisitions, sales, leasing, zoning, and land use.
• Document Preparation and Review: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, leases, deeds, and other legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
• Title Examination: Conduct thorough title searches to verify the legal ownership of property and ensure there are no encumbrances or liens.
• Transaction Management: Oversee the entire real estate transaction process, including contract negotiations, due diligence, closing procedures, and dispute resolution.
• Compliance: Ensure all real estate transactions comply with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
• Litigation Support: Represent clients in real estate disputes, including boundary issues, zoning violations, landlord-tenant conflicts, and breaches of contract.
• Risk Assessment: Identify and assess potential legal risks associated with property transactions and provide solutions to mitigate them.
• Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed of transaction progress, legal requirements, and any issues that arise.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other professionals, including real estate agents, brokers, lenders, surveyors, and appraisers, to ensure all aspects of a transaction are legally sound.
• Continuing Education: Stay up-to-date with changes in real estate law, industry trends, and legal best practices through continuous learning and professional development.
