Part-Time Receptionist to start on 18th September 2024
Stalybridge, Cheshire
• £12972 per annum (£12 per hour)
• Part-time hours Wednesday to Friday 9am to 5pm Monday and Thursday, 4.30pm finish on a Friday, with one hour unpaid lunch
• 20 days pro rata holiday increasing with length of service, birthday holiday, bonus Christmas shopping day in December

Are you an experienced Receptionist looking for a new opportunity? Our client are a friendly firm of Solicitors, based in Mossley, North West and they are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Receptionist to join their team on a permanent basis. If you are a friendly and professional individual with excellent organizational skills, we want to hear from you!
Job Responsibilities And Duties Include
• Greet and welcome visitors in a polite and professional manner
• Answer and direct phone calls efficiently
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages
• Provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the office
• Maintain a tidy and organized reception area
• Take details of all new enquiries to pass to fee earners
• Greeting clients/suppliers/visitors to premises in a professional and friendly manner and offering refreshments if required
• Opening, accurate scanning and distribution of daily post to fee earners
• Using franking machine, preparing and sending outgoing mail and arranging courier or Post Office deliveries as required
• Taking outgoing post to local post office on way home
• Assisting with closing and archiving files for fee earners, and retrieving files from archive
• Keeping an inventory of stationery and water supply and ordering and moving same
• Liaising with photocopier and franking machine suppliers in case of repair/fault
• Ordering photocopier toner replacement
• Diarising client/supplier meetings for fee earners as required and booking meeting rooms
• Using case management system (ALB) to record telephone calls
• General filing, photocopying and scanning as required
• Case-related tasks as required by fee earners
Characteristics of a Successful Candidate:
• Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office and other common office software
• High level of professionalism and a friendly demeanor
