We are seeking a full-time Receptionist to work the Front Desk at our Central Business Office located south of the Lloyd Center. You will work with exceptional physicians who value their team and working together to help our patients get the best possible care.
Our busy organization receives a high volume of patient and vendor calls, and we are searching for an experienced candidate with a friendly demeanor, great positive attitude, and customer-focused work ethic. Candidates must be detail-oriented, strong at multitasking and dedicated to high quality patient care.
Primary duties include greeting and directing or providing general information to visitors, triaging and correctly routing calls to the appropriate extension/voicemail, managing faxes, sorting and distributing mail, mailing paper HCFAs and refund checks in a timely manner, and accepting occasional cash payments. Additional responsibilities include maintaining inventory and performing other general office support duties as assigned. Ideal candidate would be a certified notary.
Workday will be Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm. Starting pay range, based on experience: $17.+2 - $24.24
Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.
Qualifications
• At least 6 months' experience as a customer-focused receptionist in a busy medical office. 1-2 years experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel & Word.
• Ability to learn position-specific software, (prior EMR experience helpful).
• Ability to type 40+ wpm.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task and interact with a wide range of individuals.
