Responsibilities
The Receptionist will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate persons, greeting and assisting clients and visitors
The receptionist will also provide general office support with a variety of clerical and related activities
Open office - unlock front door, turn on lights, check conference room set-ups, distribute overnight faxes, take phone off night mode at 8:15 AM
Responsible for front desk coverage at all times front door is open and area is accessible
Answer main switchboard calls
Greet and direct guests and clients
Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients
Control the flow of telecommunications, outside mail, courier activity and messaging in an efficient and professional manner
Log all packages delivered
Schedule conference rooms
Schedule video conference calls and assist with equipment setup, providing back-up to the Office Services Clerk
Update local employee personnel phone and address lists
Handle overflow secretary duties (including document edits, binder tabbing, etc.)
Work consistently and effectively in a team environment
The Receptionist will be evaluated annually by the Office Manager based on the following performance criteria
Professionalism and timeliness of handling telephone calls and greeting clients
Professionalism in dealing with attorneys and support staff
Competency in coordinating conference rooms and video conference scheduling
