Job Description
1 year contract
Location: 5 Richard Way in Calgary, Alberta
Pay rate: $24.03/hr
Activities will include, but not be limited to, assisting with greeting and assisting visitors, routing incoming telephone calls, supporting on-site meeting logistics, dispatching and receiving courier shipments and regular mail, supporting the organization and tracking of the promotional items storage room, and assisting with meeting logistics
Knowledge and Experience
• High School Graduate with Administrative Training or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a receptionist/administrative role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Ability to adapt to learn new software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Core Responsibilities
- Greet and Assist visitors
-Manage the office supplies storage room and promotional items storage room, including inventory and organization
-Receive and send out regular mail and couriers, support packaging and shipping needs.
-Manage office supplies and ordering
-Assist with onsite meeting rooms and logistics
-Internal event support including maintaining the employee clothing size spreadsheet and event-specific admin support including vendor coordination and communication (hotel room booking, transportation needs, etc), name tag development/formatting/printing/assembling, signage and other asset printing and delivery coordination, envelop stuffing and labelling needs, etc.
-Other administrative tasks, including assisting with travel booking and expense management, as required. Supporting other departments as required.
