THE OPPORTUNITY
We're offering an 8-month maternity leave cover role for an experienced receptionist with a passion for exceptional customer service!
Our unique marina is a bustling destination hub for boating enthusiasts, offering high quality facilities and services. We pride ourselves on delivering outstanding customer experiences, and we're looking for a dedicated Receptionist & Customer Services Representative to join our front desk team.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the front desk, greet customers, and assist with inquiries.
Process and data entry with a high degree of accuracy.
Finalise and issue basic invoices/accounts and handle payment transactions.
Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring all guests feel welcome and valued.
Maintain a calm and courteous demeanor, especially during busy periods or when dealing with challenging customers.
Requirements:
Experience: 2+ years of experience working on a busy front desk/reception in a hospitality environment.
Knowledge: Familiarity and knowledge with boating, marina or yachting industries essential.
Skills: Strong administrative abilities, particularly in processing and data entry.
Finance: Previous experience in finalizing and issuing basic invoices/accounts and receiving payments.
Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
Customer Service: Outstanding customer service skills with a passion for helping others.
