Responsibilities
Professional demeanor that will represent Parexel to clients in a polished manner
Service oriented mindset to deliver outstanding customer service each day
Greet visitors with a professional and positive attitude while maintaining security procedures
Answer, screen, and transfer calls or take messages
Coordinate travel requests, hotel reservations, and vehicle bookings for Parexel visitors using contracted travel agency
Coordinate the meeting room schedule ensuring special requirements in terms of setup and equipment are met
Process incoming and outgoing mail, faxes and packages
Manage stock of applicable facility supplies
Administrative support and management of helpdesk requests
General administrative functions including filing, printing, copying, faxing, lamination, etc

At Parexel, we are a leading Clinical Research Organization (CRO) company specializing in delivering life- changing medicines to patients. We are seeking a Receptionist to join our team in the HQ office located in Durham, NC. As a Receptionist, you’ll be joining a fast-paced, driven environment that’s helping to make life-changing difference to patients by being a first point of contact that greets all visiting guests, employees and executive leadership with a professional and welcoming demeanor. Through the collaboration, and diversity, of teams the Receptionist is provided with multiple opportunities to excel and discover where your skills can take you.

What You’ll Do
• Greet visitors with a professional and positive attitude while maintaining security procedures.

Additional Details
• This is an onsite role based in Parexel’s HQ office, currently located in Durham, NC. The office location will move to North Hills Innovation District in Raleigh, NC by the end of 2025.
• General working hours are 7:30am-4:30pm.
