Job Description

An exceptional opportunity to work as a Receptionist in the Rooms Department at Raffles London at the OWO presents itself.

Reporting into the Front Office Manager and Reception Supervisor, you will be instrumental in delivering excellent service to our guests.

Your role will require a discerning eye towards providing exceptional operational standards at the front desk, ensuring a guest-centred focus in everything we do while contributing to a supportive and engaging environment within the Front Office team.

You will work in a fast-paced and ultraluxury environment, meeting elevated expectations of our guests. Your personable, courteous, and efficient manner will make a significant difference.

Responsibilities:
To ensure accurate reporting functions are carried out with a high degree of accuracy.
To have a strong understanding of established team goals and standard operating procedures, delivering on these shared goals within a team-based environment.
To provide a professional and courteous service to our guests, maintaining LQA and Forbes standards across the Front Office operation.
To take a proactive approach towards resolving guest complaints, inquiries, or concerns in a courteous and efficient manner, identifying situations that require escalation.
To ensure follow-through on all guest requests, exceeding expectations and resolving problems efficiently.
To maintain good organisational skills, carrying out daily tasks with a high level of efficiency and professionalism.
To perform additional responsibilities in the absence of a line manager or senior employee.
To perform other duties as required or assigned, including working in a different department or restaurant than usually assigned.
Requirements:
A willingness and eagerness to contribute to setting up standards and objectives in line with the broader Raffles vision.
Strong time management skills, with the ability to multitask while maintaining an immaculate and professional appearance.
Well-developed technical and computer skills.
The ability to work full-time during the overnight shift.
An understanding and willingness to contribute to a 24-hour operational schedule when required.
A proven track record and ability to provide high levels of service under pressure.
Exceptional communication and customer service skills, both written and spoken.
Strong time management skills, with the ability to multitask while maintaining an immaculate and professional appearance.
