Full job description

Ongoing Part Time - 48 hours per fortnight

Available from 18th August 2025

An exciting and rewarding opportunity is available for a suitably qualified candidate to join the Medical Imaging team at Portland District Health.

Reporting to the Medical Imaging Administration Supervisor you will provide confidential administrative support to the Portland District Health Medical Imaging Department. Part time or casual will be considered.

About you:

A Medical Terminology qualification (or working towards same)

Certificate III in Business Studies / Health Administration

Experienced in delivering high quality customer service and /or working within multi-disciplinary teams.

Demonstrated experience working in a busy, dynamic team of Medical Professionals and associated staff

High accuracy and typing speed above 50 WPM

Intermediate to Advanced computer skills in software applications including Microsoft office applications such as Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Access

Word processing / Keyboarding experience

Portland District Health (PDH) provides an integrated health service for the community. The hospital was established in 1856 on the current site and now provides a comprehensive range of services that include:
