Job Summary: We are looking for a friendly, organized, and professional receptionist to join our team. The receptionist will be the first point of contact for visitors and clients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience. This role involves handling front office reception and administration duties, including greeting guests, answering phones, handling company inquiries, and sorting and distributing mail.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
• Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
• Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
• Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries.
• Maintain a tidy and presentable reception area.
• Schedule appointments and update appointment calendars.
• Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, and faxing.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven work experience as a receptionist, front office representative, or similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machines and printers).
• Professional attitude and appearance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
