Looking for a part-time receptionist for an osteopathy healthcare practitioner. This position is located in a beautiful well established medical clinic in the east end of St. John’s.
The successful candidate should be well-organized, professional, have a positive attitude and have relevant training and experience in reception and/or office administration. Students enrolled in Office Administration at any secondary school is an asset. (This position has been approved in the past for the on-the-job training/work term in the Office Admin program at CNA.)

Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Answer incoming calls, voicemails and emails/texts in a timely manner
Check-out patients via debit/credit (no direct billing to insurance)
Data entry in electronic scheduling system (Clinic Sense)
Other duties include: making photocopies, giving out prescribed exercises to patients, contacting patients to follow up/make appointment changes, doing up correspondence letters etc.
Being polite to all patients and professional towards the rest of the staff in the clinic
Maintaining a neat and tidy reception area
Communicating well with the patients and with the primary doctor.
Hours: Morning shift is +:00am-1:00pm and afternoon shift is 3pm-5pm. Hours can vary based on patient bookings. Clinic is open Monday to Thursday (Fridays off), probationary 3 month period.
Compensation: $18/hour.
Start date: April 14th, 2026 or ASAP.
