Job description
The role
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, friendly and organised receptionist who will provide an efficient and effective reception service in our very busy prep school office. We are dedicated to fostering a welcoming environment for all pupils, visitors and staff. As the first point of contact, the Receptionist will ensure the smooth day-to-day handling of face-to-face, telephone and e-mail enquiries.
Candidates must have strong people and communication skills. Experience of working in a fast-paced environment and the ability to prioritise workload and complete administration tasks is important. Candidates will also have good attention to detail, a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and evidence of working in an environment of high confidentiality. Experience of iSAMS or a similar MIS would be an advantage.
• Part time, term-time plus 7 INSET days and 15 days to be worked in the holidays.
• Two or three days per week, 8.30am-5.30pm to include Monday and Tuesdays.
