While we understand students studying psychology may be interested, this role requires full-time availability and commitment. We are seeking a candidate who is motivated to grow within our practice, with clear career progression opportunities into Client Support Services - Team Leader and Practice Manager roles.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

Delivering exemplary customer service as the first point of contact for Safe House Psychology.

Managing inbound calls, emails, and client communication with professionalism and warmth.

Scheduling and managing client appointments, cancellations, and rescheduling.

Processing client payments, managing accounts, and handling Medicare rebates.

Maintaining accurate records using our Client Management System.

Liaising with GPs, insurers, and other external providers.

Supporting clinicians and the Director with administrative tasks.

Assisting with marketing, social media, and community engagement activities.

Conducting intake assessments at the time of booking.

Managing confidential records and upholding client confidentiality at all times.

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Strong organisational and time management skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).

Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively as part of a team.

High-level IT skills, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.

A professional, approachable, and empathetic manner when supporting clients.

Strong attention to detail in customer service, spelling, typing, and data entry.

Ability to multitask, manage competing deadlines, and remain calm under pressure.

A confident and professional phone manner.

Proficiency in handling payments and managing client accounts.

Previous experience in healthcare or reception is highly desirable.
