Overview

Birchwood Group is a forward-looking company with retail stores, workshops and facilities based across the south coast of Sussex and Hampshire.

We are seeking a dedicated vehicle smart repair Receptionist and Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will support the smooth operation of our smart repair centre, working closely with our smart repair technicians and ensuring outstanding customer service.

Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
• Assisting the vehicle estimator with completing and submitting estimates and job packs to insurance companies
• Liaising with customers to arrange booking-in dates and vehicle handovers
• Welcoming bodyshop and service customers to the dealership, providing friendly and professional first point of contact
• Answering incoming calls and directing them as necessary
• Motivating the team

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
• Strong administrative and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• A professional and approachable demeanour
• The ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment
• Previous experience in a similar role or the automotive industry would be an advantage, but training will be provided for the right candidate

Package:
• Salary: £25,375 (pro-rata)
• Hours: 2+.5hrs average per week (Monday to Friday – +:00am to 2.30pm or +:30am to 3.00pm, Saturday 8:00am to 12:00pm 1 in 2 - paid as overtime)
• Holiday: 22 days per year + bank holidays
