GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:
Responsible for efficiently and accurately packaging new product into OEM-branded containers, using custom packaging specifications while ensuring all new product received is damage-free, counted and verified for put-away to the inventory shelf.
Available Shift: 1st Shift Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receiving Associate I
Verify the quantity and product being packaged and binned are accurate against Arrive Report
Use Barcode Scanning System to process product while packaging and binning to create OEM-branded labels
Pack product to maximize box space to reduce packaging costs while maintaining packaging integrity when creating packaging specifications.
Label finished packages neatly to ensure finished product meets Marketing requirements
Inspect products to ensure they are clean and free from damage
Ensure Quality Control Standards and Practices are occurring (identifying damage, handling shortages, and wrong parts)
Must be willing to be cross-trained in other areas in the warehouse as needed
Able to stand for extended periods of time, lifting multiple pounds regularly
Bin product to maximize rack/shelf space consolidation when needed
Bin product neatly to ensure finished product meets picking and cycle counting requirements
Works closely with the Re-Warehousing Team Strategy to ensure product is being binned properly to meet the requirements of safety, zone control, and established storage criteria and techniques
Record daily productivity on Progress Control Boards per Lean Philosophy
Meet and exceed daily productivity and quality standards
Responsible for helping maintain cleanliness and 5S standards within the Warehouse Storage Racks
Responsible for helping maintain cleanliness and 5S standards at Packing Stations
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as part of the job function while using safe lifting requirements
Operates an order picker, standup reach truck and fork truck to remove, transport and bin product on shelf
Must be willing to be cross-trained in other areas in the warehouse as needed
Able to stand for extended periods of time, lifting multiple pounds regularly
Must perform within the Company Safety Program and Polices
Receiving Associate II
Lead receiving activities for FedEx, UPS, and Madison/Yankton shipments.
Independently verify purchase orders and identify discrepancies.
Conduct thorough damage inspections and report findings.
Use IFS to update inventory, print labels, and track order details.
Assist in training Level I employees on receiving procedures.
Improve organization and efficiency in the receiving area.
Communicate effectively with supervisors on quality issues.
Maintain a high accuracy rate with minimal errors.
Receiving Associate III
Oversee all receiving activities, ensuring compliance with SOPs.
Serve as the go-to expert for troubleshooting receiving and inventory issues.
Mentor and train Level I and Level II employees.
Implement process improvements to enhance receiving efficiency.
Coordinate with Quality Control and management to resolve product discrepancies.
Ensure accurate documentation and reporting for productivity tracking.
Communicate with Shipping teams to prioritize urgent shipments.
Maintain high standards for safety, accuracy, and efficiency in the receiving area.
EXPERIENCE:
Receiving Associate I
Previous experience with a Barcode Scanning System/handheld preferred
Forklift Certification preferred (order picker, reach truck) must be able to pass the forklift certification test
Table Top auto-bagger experience a plus
Previous packaging experience preferred
0-1 year of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or receiving role.
Some experience handling incoming shipments and verifying deliveries.
Exposure to inventory systems (IFS or similar) is a plus but not required.
Receiving Associate II
2-4 years of experience in receiving, warehouse operations, or quality control.
Hands-on experience with inventory management systems (IFS or similar).
Proven ability to handle receiving independently with minimal supervision.
Experience training new employees on receiving and inspection tasks.
Receiving Associate III
5+ years of experience in receiving, quality control, or warehouse operations.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
Extensive experience using and optimizing inventory management software.
Proven track record of improving receiving accuracy and efficiency.
EXPERTISE
Receiving Associate I
Basic understanding of receiving processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Ability to follow a checklist for equipment inspections (e.g., pallet jack).
Familiarity with shipping carriers (FedEx, UPS) and basic receiving workflows.
Ability to read and verify purchase orders for accuracy.
Receiving Associate II
Strong understanding of receiving processes and SOPs.
Proficient in using IFS or similar inventory systems for labeling and tracking.
Knowledge of quality control processes, including identifying damages and reporting procedures.
Familiarity with logistics workflows, including prioritization of hot orders.
Ability to troubleshoot minor receiving discrepancies.
Receiving Associate III
In-depth knowledge of warehouse receiving and quality assurance.
Advanced proficiency in M3 and WMS
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills in logistics operations.
Ability to analyze receiving trends and recommend process improvements.
Expertise in handling and resolving complex inventory discrepancies.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
INTERNAL & EXTERNAL CONNECTIONS:
Receiving/shipping associates and inventory control team

Base Pay Range between $17.50 - $18.00 per hour plus a potential quarterly bonus based on performance metrics
Actual pay determined by experience level, skills, qualifications & work location
