Job Description
The Records Officer (Compliance) is a newly created position at the City. You will be responsible in ensuring the City complies with Western Australia Government’s privacy and information sharing legislation.
You are a team orientated person with excellent written and verbal communication skills while you exercise your initiative and judgement to solve problems as they occur. You will have knowledge of Privacy and Responsible Information Sharing principles as well as knowledge of Information Classification principles. Additionally you will also have working knowledge of the State Records Act 2000 (WA). You also have previous experience in working with electronic and paper based records and systems with a thorough understanding of records management practices and procedures. In addition to your time management skills, you have a keen eye for detail and are solution-focussed.
A qualification in records management, information management or Business is desirable.
We are offering a gross salary of $74,+++ per annum and:
5% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5%
