The role:
You will play a pivotal role in championing the continued development and delivery of recoveries and collections. This is a hands-on position, with great opportunities to improve process and efficiency driving business results.
Key responsibilities will include:
Talking to third parties when claims are lodged to determine whether they are insured or uninsured and accepting or disputing liability
Selecting the best collection strategy for each case
Drive outcomes with trace agents, investigators and debt collection agencies and generate positive outcomes for the business
Working closely with the claims case managers to ensure a solid understanding of the claim plus ensuring costs are finalised quickly
Managing cases going to disputes tribunal
Continually monitoring each case to ensure everything that can be done is being done
Adhere to collection rate targets and find ways to continually increase our collection rate
Develop and maintain reporting of key recoveries metrics.
