Job Description
CoAbility
Work Under Our Registration Umbrella
Recovery Coaches, are you thinking about your next move?
You’ve built your practice on empathy, connection, and lived experience—and so have we.
At CoAbility, we partner with experienced Psychosocial Recovery Coaches who want to work in a way that’s values-led, recovery-focused, and supported by systems that actually work.
Our Philosophy
At CoAbility, we understand that recovery is deeply personal, non-linear, and grounded in connection. That’s why we’ve built a structure that gives Psychosocial Recovery Coaches the autonomy to do the work their way—with the right support behind them when it counts.
We’ve created a place where Recovery Coaches are trusted, backed, and genuinely part of something meaningful—for participants and for themselves.
People First Leadership
We’re not top-heavy or corporate. Our leadership team is lean, responsive, and always ready to jump in when needed. We focus on what matters: people, not processes—and creating the conditions for genuine, high-quality work.
Built with Recovery in Mind
CoAbility understands recovery coaching at its core. Our infrastructure supports you to walk alongside people with complex needs—without walking alone yourself.
What’s in it for you? Glad you asked!
These are just some of the reasons
people love being part of the CoAbility team.
100% Remote Work Model
We work flexibly and virtually—every day. Recovery-focused support doesn’t need an office.
No Arbitrary KPIs
But we do expect around 80% of your hours to be billable.
NDIS Compliance and Registration
We’ve got the registration and compliance sorted, so you don’t have to.
Fair and Competitive Rates
Contractor rates are inclusive of super and reflect the real value of psychosocial recovery work.
Proven Digital Systems
We’ve got reliable, easy-to-use systems—no spreadsheets required.
Stability and Longevity
Recovery Coaching may be relatively new to the NDIS, but we’re not. We’ve been doing this since 2017—and we’re here to stay.
When you work under our umbrella,
you’re part of something bigger—and that
means following the guidelines that keep
us compliant, consistent, and participant-focused.
Your responsibilities will include:
Caseload Management
Prioritise and manage your caseload efficiently to ensure timely, participant-focused service delivery.
Recovery-Focused Support
Provide trauma-informed, person-led support that aligns with recovery goals.
Plan Development & Monitoring
Co-create and maintain individualised recovery plans based on participant goals.
Collaboration & Advocacy
Work alongside participants, carers, and clinical supports to ensure coordinated care.
Community Connection
Support participants to connect with community, mainstream, and informal supports.
Coaching for Capacity
Build motivation, resilience, and decision-making skills through coaching techniques.
Record Keeping & Documentation
Accurately document all billable and non-billable activity in our CRM by the close of business on the day of service.
Incident & Crisis Management
Handle emerging issues professionally and report through our structured processes.
Quality and Compliance
Follow CoAbility’s policies and procedures, the NDIS Code of Conduct, and all relevant legislation and practice standards.
Administrative Accuracy
Ensure all data, documentation, and billing are accurate, complete, and submitted on time to enable smooth service delivery.
Team Participation
Be an active part of the team: attend supervision, participate in team meetings, and contribute to a positive, inclusive culture.
Professional Boundaries & Ethics
Maintain professional boundaries and act with integrity and respect in all CoAbility-related interactions, including with participants, colleagues, and stakeholders.
You’ll need to meet a set of baseline requirements. These are in place to protect everyone—ensuring you’re covered, we remain compliant, and participants receive safe, high-quality support under the NDIS.

“I was drawn to CoAbility because of their commitment to quality, and they’ve absolutely delivered on that promise. There’s a real sense of community, even though we work remotely, and I always feel informed and involved.”
MarcusCoach - Langwarrin
“I was initially nervous about transitioning my caseload over, but CoAbility made the process incredibly smooth. The team was organised, responsive, and respectful of my existing relationships with my participants. I felt supported every step of the way, and my participants have noticed the difference too — they’re still getting the same level of support from me, but now they aren’t waiting on me to do all the behind-the-scenes stuff on my own. There’s a whole team helping things run smoothly.”
AnnaRecovery Coach - Footscray
“Working with CoAbility has been such a refreshing experience. The team is genuinely supportive, communication is always clear, and I feel respected and trusted in my role. It’s a fantastic environment for anyone who just wants to get the work done without all the BS.”
