Recovery Specialist
Full job description
We’re looking for a Recovery Specialist who’s ready to make a real impact while living our core values of Trust, Respect, and Integrity.
What you’ll do:
Review and manage charged off and negative accounts
Work with members, attorneys, and agencies to find solutions
Set up and monitor payment plans or settlements
Prepare accounts for legal action or outside recovery
Locate members using skip tracing tools
Send recovery and adverse action letters
Keep accurate logs, files, and reports for management
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Assist with department calls, emails, and projects
Qualifications
Education/Experience
No major required
High school diploma
2 - 4 Years work experience in Collections and Recovery
Experience in repossessions, bankruptcy law, and federal and state regulations
Good writing and verbal communication skills
Good organization skills
Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work well under pressure and adhere to set deadlines
Ability to create and maintain spreadsheets and documents in Microsoft Excel and Word
