Program Summary:
We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our Apprenticeship Program as Recruitment Assistants. Throughout the program, you will work closely with our team of experienced recruiters, gaining exposure to various aspects of the recruitment process and contributing to real-world projects.
The apprenticeship program at Recruiting Genie is a 12-month commitment, during which you will receive on-the-job training and mentorship. This timeframe will allow you to learn and grow alongside experienced professionals in the field.
Responsibilities:
Support Recruiters: Work closely with our experienced Recruiters to assist in the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to coordinating interviews and managing job offers.
Candidate Sourcing: Utilize various channels, including job boards, social media platforms, and our internal candidate database, to identify and attract potential candidates for open positions.
Candidate Screening: Conduct initial screenings of candidates by reviewing resumes, conducting phone interviews, and assessing qualifications to determine their suitability for specific job opportunities.
Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring smooth communication and a positive candidate experience.
Applicant Tracking: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate information, application status, and interview feedback in our applicant tracking system.
Reference Checks: Assist in conducting reference checks on potential candidates to validate their qualifications, skills, and previous work experiences.
Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the recruitment team, such as drafting job descriptions, preparing reports, and managing recruitment-related documentation.
Stay Updated: Stay informed about industry trends, recruitment best practices, and changes in employment laws to ensure compliance and enhance the recruitment process.
Requirements:
Education: Graduation in a commerce/ business or in related field.
Passion for Recruitment: Strong interest in the field of recruitment, with a desire to learn and develop skills in this area.
Excellent Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with candidates and maintain professional relationships.
Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate data entry and thorough candidate screening.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, supporting team members and contributing to shared goals.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and quickly adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Tech-savvy: Proficiency in using various computer applications, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Professionalism: Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism in handling sensitive candidate information and company data.
